With around 3,000 staff and 13,000 students the University of Aberdeen produces a significant amount of waste on a daily basis.

The University is committed to reducing waste production and aligning with the principles of the waste hierarchy as set out within the National Waste Plan. In accordance with the University’s Estates Strategy:
