Cycle Parking and Storage

Old Aberdeen Campus

Cycle Parking
There is capacity to park almost 500 bicycles across the Old Aberdeen campus. Storage ranges from open air Sheffield stands to covered racks and secure lockers.

Cycle Lockers
Cycle lockers are available at various locations across the campus - there are currently 30 cycle lockers located at the rear of the MacRobert building and a further 20 lockers located near the Cruickshank and Zoology buildings.  You can request a locker by filling out the cycle locker form.  To make use of a locker a returnable deposit of £60 is required. You will also require your own padlock for the locker.

Foresterhill Campus

Cycle Parking
There is capacity to park over 100 bicycles at the Foresterhill campus. These include uncovered Sheffield stands, covered storage stands and secure lockers. Additional facilities are available in shared NHS Grampian storage areas.

Cycle Lockers
Cycle lockers are available at various locations on site - there are currently 72 cycle lockers which are located at the back of the Lillian Sutton Building, the front of the Polwarth Building and at the side of the IMS building.  You can request a locker by filling out a cycle locker form.  To make use of a locker a returnable deposit of £60 is required. You will also require your own padlock for the locker.

Hillhead

Cycle Parking
Hillhead has bicycle storage capable of accommodating approximately 40 bicycles.

Shower and Changing Facilities

Staff and students can make use of a number of changing and showering facilities in many of the University Buildings.
