University Overall Energy Consumption

The University is a large consumer of electricity and gas, the benefits of which are immediately apparent in terms of heating, hot water, lighting and all electrical equipment. What is not apparent is how much energy is consumed at the University to make all this happen.

The University uses sufficient electricity and gas that it could meet the heat and power requirements for over 5,000 homes, or enough for the town of Ellon.
