Dim street lighting - 08/03/10
Coventry will become the first city in Britain to adopt a dimmer switch that control's the entire city's street lamps. All 28,000 street lamps will be replaced over the next 25 years, at a cost of £250 million according to the Environmentalist magazine. AG

Reusable pouches to be trialled - 02/02/10
A new WRAP trial will see Asda stores selling reusable fabric conditioner pouches from vending machines. The fabric conditioner will be piped from 1,000 litre reusable containers from the back of the store. It will save the customer 40p each time, with up to 10 refills for one pouch. AG
Britain needs to grow more food - 21/01/10
