Taught Masters and Research Degrees

The English Department offers a unique taught Masters (MLitt) in the Novel, embracing all aspects of the theory and practice of the novel from the seventeenth to the twentieth century. The programme lasts one year full time or two years part-time. Students enrolled on the MLitt will be affiliated to the Centre and participate in its activities. The Department also welcomes applications for postgraduate research on all aspects of the novel. Applicants from the UK and overseas are eligible to apply for a variety of Bursaries and Studentships offered competitively by the College of Arts and Social Sciences.
