Engineering and the Natural Environment

The central goal is to advance current engineering capabilities for addressing a range of multidisciplinary issues related to mitigation of environmental change. These issues include, among others, climate change effects, biodiversity, sustainable use of natural resources, forecasting and mitigation of natural hazards, environment pollution, effects of engineered systems on the environment, aquaculture technologies, EU Water Directive implementation.
