  • Multiphase flow in porous media under conditions relevant to EOR, geological carbon storage (CCS), and groundwater remediation
  • Buoyancy-driven flow
  • Instability and turbulence in stratified shear flows in pipes
  • Turbulence and mass transport in surface waters with vegetation
  • Techniques used include:
    • ADV, LDV, PIV
    • LIF, PLIF
    • corefloods
    • pore-network simulation
