The Public Engagement with Research Unit is pleased to offer the Enabling Fund for Public Engagement with Research.
The fund will support research-led public engagement projects organised by staff and researchers of the University of Aberdeen. Modest awards of up to £500 can be applied for in order to support a public engagement project. Projects can include, but are not limited to: public talks and discussions, research busking, school projects, media and journalism and all projects must be research- led. By research-led, we mean interaction with communities outside academia that has in the main been inspired or driven by research activity.
To help applicants prepare and enhance their skills at delivering the Public Engagement Event, the Researcher Development Unit offer ‘Enabling Fund for Researcher Development’, and applicants are also encouraged to apply for this fund. For more information see here. Both funds are available throughout the year.
