Ready to get your research into the public? Check out our busking tips below!

• An element of audience participation will get the crowd paying attention
• Sticking with a topic that you are passionate about can help you have fun and be more confident
• Speak clearly and slowly (but not too slowly)
• Stay away from technical jargon (unless you are explaining a principal with a particular name)
• Stick to the time – no waffling
• Make you demonstration exciting
• Practice... the worst thing that can happen is a demonstration that doesn’t work properly!
• If anything doesn’t go to plan just keep calm and carry on!

and lastly... have fun – if you aren’t having fun, the crowd won’t be either!
