Arts and Humanities Research Council Follow-on Funding scheme
The AHRC Follow-on Funding Scheme offers flexible funding to encourage creativity and promote innovative activities in support of public engagement that have emerged during a current project or are supplementary to a completed AHRC-funded project.
British Association Media Fellowships
The Media Fellowships help bridge the communication gap between journalists and scientists. Ten Media Fellowships are awarded each year to scientists, social scientists, clinicians and engineers from different backgrounds and stages of their career.
Creative Scotland in conjunction with Scottish Natural Heritage
are also offering support for 15 arts and / or film projects that celebrate or promote Year of Natural Scotland 2013.
Economic and Social Research Council
The ESRC offers up to £2000 funding for social science researchers to engage with non-academic audiences as well as knowledge exchange opportunities
The Holmes Hines Memorial Fund is a registered charity (number 284529) which is administered at Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) by a trust. It offers small awards to help individuals or organisations with activities related to science and engineering
The Institute of Physics public engagement grant scheme provides up to £1500 to individuals and organisations running physics-based events and activities in the UK and Ireland.
Royal Society Partnership Grants
The Partnership Grants scheme is open to any UK primary or secondary school teacher in partnership with a practising scientist or engineer. There are two application rounds per year.
The Wellcome Trust support projects that encourage people of all ages and from all walks of life to be informed, inspired and involved in tackling key issues in science and society. These grants offer support to projects from workers in science, the arts, media or education, in many different areas, including film-making, theatre productions, exhibitions, discussion and policy-influencing events and multimedia.
Year of Natural Scotland Funding Opportunities
2013 is the Year of Natural Scotland - a chance to enhance Scotland's reputation as a place of outstanding natural beauty.The VisitScotland Natural Scotland Growth Fund will support marketing projects aimed at increasing tourism spend throughout Scotland while showcasing its natural heritage.
