Our public engagement with research strategy is built on partnership. By working with others we can deliver a better programme and take advantage of more diverse areas of expertise.
The Public Engagement with Research Unit work closely with the University of Aberdeen's Natural History Cente and dot.rural. Partners we also have close links with inlude the British Science Association, the staff of TechFest (based at the Rowett Institute), Satrosphere Science Centre (the first interactive science centre in Scotland), the Aberdeen Maritime Museum and various local media (via our press office).
We are currently working with over twenty partners on various events. These include special activities celebrating national themes including National Science and Engineering Week, as well as the University Festival, and TechFest in September. In addition to these we have various special programmes occuring throughout the year.
