Rum Scum Scoosh

A Double CD of 'Songs and Stories of an Aberdeen Childhood'
by Stanley Robertson

Stanley Robertson worked at the Elphinstone Institute between 2002 - 2005 as the Keyworker for the Heritage Lottery funded project on the Oral and Cultural Traditions of Scottish Travellers. As part of this project, Stanley visited many schools, where he talked about the rich cultural traditions upheld by Scottish Travellers, sang songs, and told stories.

This CD album was recorded in response to many requests he had that he should record his own childlore and that of his family. These recordings represent a part of a larger project which will see the launch of a website and other publications.

Songs and Stories of an Aberdeen Childhood double CD, £16.00, is available from
the Online Store.
