Whit's wrang wi chips an sweeties?
"Weel, nithing," you might say.
But dinna eat too mony
Or eat them every day.

A sweetie as a treat is fine.
And chocolate? Jist a bit!
Try an aipple or banana
To help to keep you fit.

Now, chips are fine, jist once a week,
Try vegetables instead…
Some carrots, beans or parsnips
And you'll be better fed.

So let us aa be sensible
An think aboot oor food.
If you're to hae a good, lang life
Then learn to eats whit's good!
