A Tae be in Scotland     by: Addison, Hazel L. R.

Oh tae be in Scotland
Fin Spring is in the air,
Fin Winter’s sna is hyne awa
An there’s new life everywhere.

Oh tae be in Scotland
Fin Simmer days are lang,
Fin reed deer graze on heather braes
In a sunset’s fiery calm.

Oh tae be in Scotland
Amang barley parks o’gold
An hear them whisper softly
O’ secrets yet untold.

Oh tae be in Scotland
Noo that Winter’s here,
Oh tae be in Scotland
At ony time o’ eer.
