M.A./M.A. le Urram Gàidhlig le Foghlam - (Àrd-Sgoil no Bun-Sgoil)

’S e ceum ùr a tha seo a tha Oilthigh Obar Dheathain a’ tabhann, ann an co-bhonn ri OGE, tro Sabhal Mòr Ostaig agus Colaiste a’ Chaisteil.  Bheir an ceum seo cothrom dhut fuireach anns a’ cholaiste agad fhèin fad na h-ùine a bhios tu ris.  A rèir ’s mar a mhiannaicheas tu, nì thu ceum no ceum le urram ann an Gàidhlig le Foghlam agus leanaidh tu cùrsa àrd-sgoile no bun-sgoile a rèir na h-ìre aig a bheil thu ag iarraidh teagasg.

Gabhaidh an ceum seo ann an Gàidhlig le teisteanas teagaisg na lùib a choilionadh  ann an ceithir bliadhna. Bidh thu a’ leantainn a’ chiad dà bhliadhna den cheum anns a’  cholaiste agad fhèin, còmhla ris a h-uile oileanach eile a tha a’ dèanamh ceum ann an Gàidhlig.  Feumar tagradh airson a’ cheum a chur a-steach chun na colaiste m.e Sabhal Mòr Ostaig.

Aig deireadh na dara bliadhna, ma tha thu air ùidh a shealltainn ann an teagasg agus air iarrtas a chur a-steach agus gu bheil teisteanas riatanach agad ann am Beurla agus Matamaig (faic PGDE gu h-àrd), bidh agallamh agad a dhearbhadh a bheil thu freagarrach airson a bhith nad thidsear.  Ma shoirbhicheas leat san agallamh, bidh an dàrna leth den treas agus den cheathramh bliadhna ann an Gàidhlig agus an leth eile ann am Foghlam.  Bidh sin a’ gabhail a-steach 18 seachdainnean de eòlas sgoile, dìreach mar a bhios na h-oileanaich a tha a’ leantainn PGDE san oilthigh ann an Obar Dheathain a’ dèanamh.

A bharrachd air na greisean sgoile, bidh thu fhathast nad cholaiste fhèin, oir tha a’ chuid mhòr den obair a thaobh Foghlaim air loidhne, le làithean Inntrigidh ann an Obar Dheathain aig toiseach na treas bliadhna.  Bidh Disathairne an-dràsta ’s a-rithist agad ag obair còmhla ri oileanaich eile air taobh a-staigh na Comhairle agad fhèin, ann am baile a tha goireasach don mhòrchuid de na h-oileanaich a tha air a’ chùrsa aig astar.

A CPD programme to develop skills to teach learners of the language

GLPS Days 1-20

This CPD programme is available to Local Authorities who indicate that there is a demand and a cohort of teachers who wish to learn Gaelic in order to teach it to learners in the primary school.  Interested Local Authorities must apply to the University so that partnership arrangements can be put in place for delivery of the CPD programme.
