Inter-Professional Practice in Children’s Services

Advanced Professional Studies

Integrated Children’s Services are now a reality in Scotland, demanding realignment of professional roles and responsibilities.  In line with the aims of current policy, this Course is designed to develop excellence in collaboration and innovation in inter-professional practice.  This 30 SM Credit Course can contribute to a range of Masters Programmes offered by the School of Education. 

The Course is designed for all professionals with appropriate qualifications and experience in the Children’s Services context who wish to develop their knowledge, understanding and practice of inter-professional working - including teachers, community educators, counsellors, social workers, police officers, school nurses, and other health professionals, from across the public, private and voluntary sectors.
