CTP Fees

The payment options you have on joining the Chartered Teacher Programme are as follows.

Option 1: This is the most cost effective choice. If you agree to complete the full MEd/Chartered Teacher Programme i.e. completing 180 credits part time over 3 - 4 years you will pay a total of £4,980. This total fee is paid in equal parts over 3 years i.e. £1,660 per year.

Option 2: If you agree to a combination of 60 credits to be completed in 1 year, the fee payable is £2,000.

Option 3: if you prefer to take individual modules on a pay as you go basis, the fee for a 30 credit module £1,200.

You may be able to further reduce the cost of your programme by submitting a claim for Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL). You will be able to decide whether you want to submit an APL claim after you have completed module 1, Professional Perspectives in Education (30 credits). Submitting a successful APL claim will reduce the number of modules you have to study and therefore pay for.

Please refer to the chart of payment packages which will help you decide on the package matched best to your circumstances and intentions.

You will be asked to register and pay for module 1 at the fee rate of £1200.  After module 1 you will be able to decide which is the best option for you to take.  If you decide on option 1 or 2, the balance payable will be adjusted to take account of your initial payment and ensure you pay no more than the total indicated.
