BA (Hons) Social Pedagogy

The BA (Hons) in Social Pedagogy is offered in a partnership between the University of Aberdeen, the Camphill School in Aberdeen (CSA) and participating communities and organisations.
Social pedagogy is a holistic professional activity integrating elements of care, education, therapeutic and creative activities in the work with individuals of all ages families and carers, acknowledging the importance of relationship and social interaction in promoting healthy development and life.
The programme incorporates and critically reflects on a range of theoretical approaches. The design of the programme enables students to be active in practice whilst undertaking their academic studies. This provides a rich and varied learning environment.
