Property RAE Results 2008

The Property group at Aberdeen is pleased to announce impressive results in the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise (RAE):

• 4* (world-leading): 20%
• 3* (internationally excellent): 40%
• 2* (recognised internationally): 30%
• 1* (recognised nationally): 10%

90% of the research entered is rated as being of international quality (2* or better), with 60% rated as either world-leading (4*) or internationally excellent (3*).

These ratings give Property a weighted average score of 2.70. In comparison with other Scottish Universities, Property at Aberdeen is ranked first equal with Glasgow.

Amongst all universities in the UK, Property at Aberdeen is ranked 6th equal out of 25. Property at Aberdeen achieved the same score as the Universities of Reading, Manchester and Glasgow.
