Upgrade News
Questionmark Perception will be unavailable from 18.00 Monday 28 January - 18.00 hours Tuesday 29 January. The upgrade will provide numerous benefits, which include:
- Formative tests and summative exams delivered through the same portal, making it easier to manage different types of assessments
- New hardware and architecture resulting in a robust load balanced environment, ideal for high-stakes summative exams
- Enhanced integration with MyAberdeen, with results (first, best, worst, last) appearing automatically in the Grade Centre of MyAberdeen
- The option to save assessments automatically at regular intervals, enabling students to resume assessments
- Enhancements such as: Analytics (new reporting system), workplace observational assessments, avoid previously delivered questions, print feedback button and updated user interface and login screen
Following the upgrade, if you use Authoring Manager, a representative from IT Services will be in contact to arrange an upgrade of your software. If you use Enterprise Manager please login as normal by going to the new url that will be provided after the upgrade.
If you have questions and assessments on the previous qmp2 system, which was used for high-stakes summative examinations, these will be migrated over to the new system, which combines both qmp1 and qmp2 databases. This process will take place over the next 3 weeks following the upgrade.
