The University has upgraded its Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), WebCT, to the new Blackboard VLE, Learn 9.1 environment, in time for the start of the Academic Year 2011/12. After a lengthy consultation process it was decided that the new VLE be known as MyAberdeen.
The Centre for Academic Development's eLearning team will continue to provide support for this transition. The consultation process with all stakeholders and the provision of information sessions on MyAberdeen started in May 2011. The migration of courses will continue in phases, with priority being given to courses that will run in the 1st Half Session of 2011/12.
