MyAberdeen is the University’s Virtual Learning Environment. It is based upon the Blackboard Learn 9.1 environment and replaced WebCT in 2010/11.
The Centre for Academic Development's eLearning team provide various forms of support for MyAberdeen. These include one to one support, drop in sessions and online self help materials which include: MyAberdeen FAQs which may help you to resolve many common issues and Documentations and Video Tutorials which include step by step guides designed to help staff perform common tasks in MyAberdeen. Enhancements gives details of the improved functionality of MyAberdeen since Service Pack 8 was introduced in July 2012, links are provided to Student Documentation and Video Tutorials and Workshops and tailored training sessions for staff.
The University has recently purchased Blackboard Mobile Learn. This allows students and staff to access their MyAberdeen courses through an app. The app will work on iOS (iPod Touch, iPhone and iPad), Android and Blackberry devices.
