Transcripts

Transcripts are documents produced by universities, detailing every course taken by an individual student and the marks obtained for each course.  They can only be requested by the student from the Registrar of his/her university/universities, who will often send them directly here (although sometimes they are sent to the student in a sealed envelope)  They are important documents and should be sent here in original form, with Registrar’s signature/seal.  We normally require transcripts from all of your previous degrees or higher education qualifications.

Notes for applicants from the American system:

  • Cumulative GPA: staff look at this, but it is not the only deciding factor and we cannot give an admission threshold (see ‘academic qualifications required for admission’)
  • GRE score:  You should include this score if you have it, but the possession of a score is not an admission requirement.
