Practical Theology (MTh)

The MTh in Practical Theology may be taken over 12 months full-time, or 24 months part-time. It is a unique and innovative degree course which combines an intellectually challenging introduction to the nature of Practical Theology with a focus on the complexities of ministry and Christian practices in a cultural context which is changing for the Church.  The programme is open to those whose prior knowledge and experience is in other disciplines, but who have interests in Practical Theology and are looking for a programme to introduce them to the concerns and methodologies, and equip them for effective ministry in different contexts.   It offers a rigorous academic programme in practical theology designed to equip students with the competencies and insights required for doctoral level research.
