Seth Kunin appointed to Durham

In continuing a tradition whereby Aberdeen academics are appointed to positions of leadership in top universities Professor Seth D. Kunin has been appointed to the position of Executive Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities in Durham University from 1 September 2005. Professor Kunin will be much missed by colleagues and students alike. He has contributed to the University of Aberdeen in many ways, most recently as Director of Research for the College of Arts and Social Sciences. All his colleagues join in congratulating him in this appointment and in wishing him well for the future.
