About the Department | Undergraduate Study | Postgraduate Study | Staff Directory | News & Events Ehrenschwendtner appointedAberdeen University is delighted with the recent appointment of Marie-Luise Ehrenschwendtner to the position of Teaching Fellow in Church History. Dr Ehrenschwendtner brings with her a wide range of University teaching experience and has special research interests in the field of mediaeval and early modern Church History. She is author of Die Bildung der Dominikanerinnen in Süddeutschland vom 13.-15. Jahrhundert (Contubernium 60; Stuttgart: Franz-Steiner-Verlag, 2004) and of a range of articles, including dozens of articles in the latest edition of Religion in Geschichte und Gegenwart. She is currently carrying out research for a monograph on the Reformer, Thomas Bilney. Dr Ehrenschwendtner will work alongside Dr Nick Thompson in the Church History division in Aberdeen within Divinity. The School of Divinity, History and Philosophy also has a number of staff with interests in Church History within the department of History.
