Printing to Networked Departmental Printers - Service Summary

This service enables University staff and research students with a UoA IT account to print from a UoA desktop PC or appropriately configured laptop to a departmental printer which is connected to the network. The strategic solution for printing and copying is Multi Functional Devices (MFDs) however in the interim IT Services continue to support existing departmental printers.

This service is jointly delivered by the department and IT Services, with the department funding the necessary printing device and IT Services providing purchasing advice, installation, access controls, network connectivity and print functionality.
