Server Management

Where requirements are in excess of core services or functionality, IT Services provides a service for the hosting and management of departmental and research group services.

The service is available to all UoA staff, given departmental approval, and can provide:

• Specification and purchase of computer hardware;
• Installation of hardware into physcically secure central data centre;
• Monitoring of system;
• Updating of operating systems;
• Secure offsite data backup facilities;
