SCRAN (Scottish Cultural Resources
Access Network) is a web-site with over half a million pages of photos,
text, movies and audio devoted to Scottish material culture and human
history. Marischal Museum is one of the many contributors.
The
Biota of Early Terrestrial Ecosystems: The Rhynie Chert
is a web-based teaching and learning resource developed at the University
of Aberdeen and, like the LEMUR project, has been funded by the Joint
Information Systems Committee. 'Rhynie Chert' is a 400 million year
old fossil-rich rock foramtion, found near the village of Rhynie in
northeast Scotland
