The author asks God, who with his son and the Holy Spirit created the world, to help and save him, a sinner.

Prayer, Domine Ihesu Christe fili dei vivi qui es.



A prayer to Jesus Christ, who is one with God the Father, asking for his help and salvation.


Domine Ihesu Christe fili dei vivi qui es\ verus et omnipotens deus splendor et\ ymago patris et vita eterna cui una cum deo\ patre equus honor eadem gloria coeterna ma\iestas una substancia. Te laudo te adoro teque\ glorifico ne me obsecro perire paciaris sed sal\va et adiuva me gratuitu munere tuo quem\ dignatus es redimere precioso sanguine tuo.\ Qui cum patre et spiritu sancto\

A prayer glorifying the Holy Spirit (see folio 320v), who is one with God the Father and the Son and who descended in the form of a dove upon Christ and as tongues of fire upon his apostles.
