If you are looking to order catering for any of the following rooms, you should place your order with the Conference & Events Office rather than with Delivered Catering:-
- Elphinstone Hall
- Linklater Rooms
- King’s College Centre
- Old Town House
- Zeste
University Colleges, Schools and Departments buying delivered catering from Campus Services must use the University Finance System and Internal Orders.
Notice periods (Does not include week-end days).
- Tea, coffee and drinks: 24 hours
- Working lunches: 48 hours
- Finger/Fork buffets & Desserts: 72 hours
Please note that all orders must be placed by 10am at the latest prior to the cancellation deadline.

Please Note:
If you have requirements for delivered catering on multiple dates and different locations, for clarity, please raise separate orders for each day.
You must include information on the date, time and location of the service you are requesting in the “Order Text” section of your Internal Order, along with any special instructions eg: “please leave outside the room” for confirmation and successful deliver your order.
It is also helpful to add the name of the person making the booking to this field, if this is not you, to allow Campus Services to contact the booker in case of query. please note that details only input to the External Comments box will be included with the order.
Once you have raised your Internal Order, it is automatically e-mailed to Campus Services, who will send you a confirmation of order including details of the items ordered, their associated costs and the date, time and venue for the delivery, along with a copy of the terms and conditions. If any of the details on this confirmation are incorrect you should contact Campus Services tel: 273959.
Changing Your Booking
Should you need to amend your booking you can do this by revising your Internal Order. The revised Internal Order will automatically be e-mailed to Campus Services, who will send a revised confirmation.
Please Note:
If you are looking to revise the number of people, you will still have to revise your order in line with the minimum period of notice.
For example revised numbers for a finger buffet will require 72 hours’ notice otherwise you will be charged for the number given on your Internal Order prior to your amendment.
Please note that all orders must be placed by 10am at the latest prior to the cancellation deadline.
Cancel Your Booking
The notice periods for cancelling a booking are the same as for ordering:
- tea, coffee and drinks: 24 hours*
- working lunches: 48 hours*
- Finger/Fork buffets & Desserts: 72 hours*
* week-end days cannot be included in this notice period.
If you cancel your booking with less notice than noted above, Campus Services reserves the right to apply charges for the items which were cancelled with insufficient notice.
Please note that all orders must be placed by 10am at the latest prior to the cancellation deadline.
Any cancellations must be made by telephone (3959) and not cancelled through your Internal Order until you are sure no charges are to be applied.
