Applications invited for Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer / Chair in Digital Economy, School of Geosciences
The University of Aberdeen is embarking on a new and ambitious programme of investment with up to one hundred new academic positions are on offer. We seek a candidate with a strong track record of research linking Digital Economy to socio-economic issues. A priority area is sustainable societies (e.g. impacts of digital technologies on behaviour change; ICT built-environment interactions) but applicants with wider interests in the interactions between technology and society are encouraged to apply. Closing date for applications is: Friday 4th May 2012.

CTR PhD student Craig Morton wins finalist place in the prestigious European YEAR2012 competition
Craig submitted an abstract relating to his research on the diffusion of low emissions vehicles and an analysis of the emerging consumer market. He wins funding to attend the four-day Transport Research Arena conference in Athens at the end of April and will exhibit his work to an estimated 1,500 delegates.
