CTR to be part of Research Council UK's programme of energy efficiency research.
The Centre for Transport Research is involved in one of five End Use Energy Demand (EUED)research centres funded by the UK Research Council's Energy Programme. The DEMAND Centre, led by Professor Elizabeth Shove at the University of Lancaster, will focus on how mobility and building related energy demand is made and met. Dr Anable will be part of a team to develop new ways of analyzing existing data to understand patterns, rhythms and sequencing of travel practices and the viability of innovations in technology and infrastructure to influence final demand.
