Paddy works in NHS Highland as the Head of Health Intelligence & Knowledge. Having graduated from Lancaster University in 1983 in Management Sciences, he has worked within the NHS for over 20 years and has extensive knowledge of NHS information and data. Since moving to the Highlands in 1997 Paddy has been working closely with colleagues in Public Health, the Highland Wellbeing Alliance, and the former Public Health Institute of Scotland. He graduated from Glasgow University with a Masters in Public Health in 2003 and has research interests in demography, suicide and deliberate self harm, the underpinning socio-economic factors of health and wellbeing, and reducing inequalities.
