Kate joined the Centre for Rural Health in June 2008 to work on the O4O: Older People for Older People project. She has a background in community development and community care. In 2007 Kate completed a BSc in Rural Development Studies through the UHI Millennium Institute and is now a PhD student. 

Kate's PhD focuses on the use of eHealth in supporting health behaviour, specifically the management of urinary incontinence symptoms.
