Biography

David joined CRH in March 2003, having graduated in economics from Edinburgh University, and then worked for 13 years as a research fellow in the Department of General Practice there. He is an experienced health services researcher with interests in organisation and delivery of health services, particularly in remote and rural areas. He has had a particular interest in the delivery of out of hours services, having led the evaluation of NHS 24 in Scotland. He has been a co-author on over 45 peer-reviewed articles and been involved in over thirty funded grants. He leads the research theme entitled "Access to care and the delivery of health services".
