Emergency Contacts If you need emergency assistance when the Counselling Service is closed, the following services may be of help.
Your GPYour doctor can help with mental health problems as well as medical emergencies. Telephone your surgery to find out their out of hours arrangements. Home visits and Out of Hours Emergencies A doctor will make themselves, available to visit patients who are unable to make it to the surgery. It would be appreciated if patients could endeavour to make it down to the surgery, if at all possible. A few appointments are held back for those patients with a GENUINE MEDICAL EMERGENCY. In the unusual circumstances that you genuinely cannot make it down to the surgery on medical grounds, then PLEASE PHONE AS SOON AFTER 9am AS YOU CAN. OUT OF HOURS: Please telephone your GP Practice, have a pen and paper handy and await instructions.
