Research Partnerships

Northern Research Partnership

The Northern Research Partnership in engineering and related disciplines has been established by the University of Aberdeen, the University of Dundee and the Robert Gordon University, with significant funding from the Scottish Funding Council. The Northern Research Partnership, along with similar groupings (The Edinburgh Research Partnership and Glasgow Research Partnership) form the Scottish Research Partnership, which aims to develop a critical mass of excellent research in engineering and allied disciplines.

Scottish Research Partnership

SRPe comprises a collaboration between three regional research partnerships based around institutions in Edinburgh (the Edinburgh Research Partnership (ERP)), Glasgow (the Glasgow Research Partnership (GRP)) and Aberdeen and Dundee (the Northern Research Partnership (NRP)). The regional partnerships are characterised as clusters of high quality, research-led Higher Education Institutions and enable focused access to large-scale, high quality experimental facilities representing major capital investment in equipment not duplicated in each University.
