Four years ago I came to Scotland for my holidays and I rapidly fell in love with Scottish culture, history, breath-taking landscapes and the friendliest of all people. This is precisely when I decided that I want to live and study here.

For me, MScHE and living in Aberdeen were transformational experiences that completely changed my life for the better. It first allows me to work in Scotland at the only independent investment bank specialising in the entire spectrum of the energy industry. Then, I have acted as business consultant creating more than US$ 10 million of new opportunities. This has been done for American and British service companies expanding to Latin America - Colombia, Brazil, Mexico and Venezuela.

I finished from the University of Aberdeen with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Materials. I was sure I wanted to pursue further studies. An opportunity for a PhD programme associated with the UK energetic consortium lead by QinetiQ arose.
