- Basic 2D –
A pairwise of small-scale 2D proteomic analysis is undertaken to test an experimental
design for its suitability as the basis of a larger-scale proteomic study.
This service provides preliminary results suitable for use in grant applications.
- Standard 2D
– Quantitative analysis of replicated 2D gels generated by automatic
analysis using Phoretix 2D Expression software is provided, from which reproducible
changes at protein expression level to be determined.
- Advanced 2D
– A comprehensive statistical analysis of replicated 2D gels is undertaken
to provide complete results of the proteome study.
- Protein ID
– Identification of protein(s) in a 1D-gel band or 2D-gel spot. This
service has many applications, for example the identification of proteins
selected in a Standard or Advanced 2D experiment, the study of purified protein
complexes, or the analysis of enriched protein fractions.
