The Section of Population Health offers a Masters programme in International Health & Management combining teaching and research curriculum. The aim of this MSc programme is to equip students with knowledge and skills in the field of international health and management. It provides a broad-based training in the conduct and application of Public Health research in the international context with insight into management skills.
According to their academic needs, individual students may register either for an MSc or a Diploma in International Health & Management. Both options require completion of the taught curriculum between September and May. Students who complete these taught courses (120 credits) will be eligible for a Diploma. Award of an MSc requires completion of a three-month research thesis (60 credits). However, students who manage to complete only the first term of the taught curriculum from September to December are eligible for a Certificate in Health Services & Public Health Research. Those students who finish only parts of the taught curriculum are provided with a Certificate of Completion for individual courses.
