This 1.5 hour session provides the student with time to practice the practical skills learned in their third year with a facilitator present to demonstrate skills and answer any questions.
This is a Practical Refresher session. You must already have some experience with suturing (this can be experience on suturing models only) as the time is used to improve your suturing skills. There will be information available for you to access during the session regarding policies, materials, etc (including availability of the program “Suture Tutor” on the PC) but it will have no lecturing or teaching the skill at a beginner’s level.
Facilitation will be offered to those who have already been to the Phase II 3rd year suturing class. This is a refresher and purely practical session only of interrupted sutures
