CENTRAL LINES / CVC / PICC
Content
This 2.5 hours session provides the student with background knowledge and practical application (including Best Practice Guidelines, demonstration and the time to practice) regarding the following types of lines: PICC, CVC (e.g. Hickmans) and implanted ports. Practical Procedures being covered will include flushing of lines, drawing a blood sample if applicable to type of line, dressing changes to the sites and delivering medications & fluids.
