What is Clearing?
Clearing is how universities fill any places they still have on their programmes. Clearing is a way to get a university place if you don’t get the grades for your firm or insurance choice, you haven’t received any offers, or you have changed your mind and no longer want to go to your firm choice. You can also apply in Clearing if you’re applying after 30 June.
When can I apply through Clearing?
You can apply for a programme at the University of Aberdeen using Clearing from 5 July right up to 20 October 2025, if you’re not already holding an offer from a university or college. The earlier you act, the more choice you’ll have!
