The Catholic Chaplaincy offers a welcoming community in welcoming premises. A welcome which recognises your new freedom but offers values you can choose; a welcome which offers discovery and self-discovery in a context which takes you seriously and takes you as we find you.
The Catholic Chaplaincy, and Father James the Catholic Chaplain, are happy to be right at the heart of the University, just across the street from King’s Lawn and Bishop Elphinstone’s historic King’s College Chapel. But they are equally happy to be at the heart of twenty-first century discussion and research.
From the friendly clatter of coffee-mugs in the chaplaincy common-room to the stimulating study-groups, from the adventurousness of the annual Western Isles Trip to the prayerful quiet of the little day chapel, the chaplaincy covers a wide range of student activities.
Why not join them on a Sunday evening after (or even during) the 6.30 p.m. Mass in King’s College Chapel? Mass is followed by a free supper at 7 High Street, just across the road. That’s where to find them – at the heart of things.
