NB 20/08/11: This webpage will shortly be superseded by the website under construction for the Centre for the History and Philosophy of Science, Technology and Medicine (CHPSTM). The Centre now co-ordinates teaching and research in this area.
The history, philosophy and ethics of science, technology and medicine are taught at Aberdeen within History, Philosophy, and other departments and units, including Anthropology and English. In addition to our undergraduate courses, we offer graduate students the opportunity to study for the MLitt and PgDip in History and Philosophy of Science, and for the PhD in either History or Philosophy with an interdisciplinary focus.
