The College of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Aberdeen, drawing on its strong tradition of interdisciplinary research hosts a postgraduate research conference each year in order to bring senior and junior graduate students together to have dialogue on a pertinent academic topic and also to nurture postgraduate research in the arts, humanities and social sciences. Now in its 9th year, this year's conference hopes to continue its success in encouraging such interdisciplinary work by inviting proposals for papers on The Use, Misuse and Abuse of Identity. We would, especially, like to draw the attention of senior level PHD students in the Sciences, Linguistics, Arts, Humanities, Politics and International Relations to present at this conference.
