The Graduate School provides unique opportunities for interdisciplinary scholarship that engages with the many issues and challenges facing society. Our programmes offer students the flexibility they need.

Examples of cross-disciplinary opportunities include The Centre for Modern Thought, which provides a platform for theoretical linkages throughout fields as diverse as literature, history, anthropology, sociology, art history, film studies and gender studies, The Research Institute for Irish and Scottish Studies and The Elphinstone Institute.
