An away day for first-year PhD students
During the course of the day students will have the opportunity to meet with various academics at the University, and to attend talks and seminars dealing with issues of relevance to first year research students, such as "Writing a Literature Review" and "From PhD Student to Academic".
Attendance free of charge, and includes a hot two-course lunch.
