Moving Forward is a two-day postgraduate conference geared toward students researching in the many disciplines of the Arts and Social Sciences.
Drawing on the success of last year's event, the 2010 conference seeks to attract even greater numbers of delegates and attendees along not only from the college itself, but also from universities across the country and further a field. Attendance, which is 15.00 GBP if paid in advance (25.00 GBP at registration), will include registration, refreshments and lunch for both days. There will also be a conference Evening Reception on the first day of the conference, for which there is an additional fee.
There will be a number of plenary sessions featuring professional speakers from a range of disciplines in addition to the numerous parallel sessions where postgraduate speakers will deliver presentations on their research / postgraduate experience. Finally, there will be a rolling Poster Session, giving conference participants an opportunity to display their research project pictorially and to encourage informal discussions between delegates / networking.
